In March 2003, Amy received her certification in vestibular rehabilitation at Emory University and continued to advance her career as a senior therapist in the outpatient physical therapy department at Hackensack University Medical Center. During her time at Hackensack, she helped to develop and expand their vestibular program and became their clinical specialist.
Amy was an avid athlete growing up, excelling and holding many local, state and national records in cross-country, track and basketball. Amy’s love of sports and the outdoors continues to influence her practice and motivate her to further her career in outpatient orthopaedics and sports medicine. As a result, Amy has over 8 years experience in the outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine field.
Amy has taken extensive continuing education courses over the years, including several advanced orthopaedic and sports medicine courses, the Mulligan and Maitland series, and the McKenzie approach to treatment of neck and back injuries. Her interests continue to include running, yoga, pilates, and golf. Amy joined Mile Square Physical Therapy in January 2008 and plans to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the near future.
